My opinion :

Personally, I love this kind of  genre and the fact that the singer is one of my favorite groups, make me think this is a very good song. But, even if this song was not sung by my favorite group, I still think it’s a very good song because of the beautiful meaning of it. This song teaches us about being selfless, to think about others before us. Even if we are on top of the world, we can’t be arrogant because the world isn’t perfect. It can change for the worst in just a blink of an eye. But even so, we can’t give up. We have to stand tall. Even when all the odds are against you, you have to keep moving forward. Cause everything is possible. 

The singer uses their life as an analogy for this song. From this song, they tell us about their struggle to live a life as an idol. Keeping their fan happy even they aren’t gonna be there for forever. Because they refuse to give. They want to be themselves forever. They want to be their young selves forever. Even when they fall down and hurt, then stand up again because they want to catch their dreams and hope forever.

’Young Forever’ have really opened up my eyes to never give up, to keep moving forward. Even when I’m at the bottom, I have to work harder and harder until I reach the top. When I’m at the top, I can’t be arrogant, because life isn’t perfect. I could fall down again. But even so, I have to live my life to the fullest. I have to be my younger self, who ambitious to reach my dream and grab it.

Education to Build a Better Future For All

When most people in the world hear the word education their first thought often are study. Well, they aren’t wrong even I have to admit my first thought is exactly that. I believe this is because it is what happening right now. School, the place for education, only teaching us to study hard and do your homework. Education is not just some material to study for, it’s more than that. Education is one of the most important parts of life, without it, I guaranteed we won’t be living long. Even in the past when human’s intelligence are small, they still have an education. Of course education in that time is different from now. Back then, they needed education on how to hunted, ate, made a fire and a shelter, and basically how to live properly.

 Education is not something that we study for grades, is something that we need for living. The way education is being practice right now is not right. We should not use education as competition to get into the top. We should embrace education, use it well for the good of everyone. Society made us miss understand the meaning of education. It is one of the reasons why education right knows brings a lot of trouble lately, such as suicide. There’s been a lot of news lately about students suicide because they are stressed out of studying. If this keeps up, education will not make a better future. It will probably destroy the world as we know it.

To prevent that from happening we should start using education the proper way. Instead of using it as a competition, we should use it to make a better future for us. We should use it to solve the world problems like how to prevent global warming, getting rid of the trash without damaging the world, and figuring out a way to solve world hunger. In order to do that, there’s need a lot of changes to the world. School have to start teaching the student the right way, don’t force them on studying, give them less homework, and make study comfortable and fun for them, so they don’t stress out and try to kill themselves. Also, people have to stop thinking that education is all about studying. They should think about how important education are so they have more motivation to learn and get to know about education more. Education is part of life that if we use it wisely we can, no we will make a better future.

My Last Holiday

My Last Holiday

Hey guys! It’s me again. I want to say sorry that I haven’t posted anything lately. I was on holiday. So, to make it up to you guys, I’m going to tell you guys about my holiday.

My holiday mostly consists staying home, reading books, watching movies, and sleeping. Yeah, nothing interesting.  But, I did go to my junior high school class reunion. It was fun, and I missed my friends so much. We’ve been classmates for 3 years, we know each other very well, some of us even go to the same elementary school. The reunion took place at my place. There isn’t a lot to tell about. We are just talking about our lives now, how different they are from what we used to. Not all of them come though, but I’m still happy I can meet them again. This is not the first time we did this. Every year, usually at the end of semester holiday, we have an event similar like this. Sometimes we cooked our meal, another time we just order them because we’re too lazy to cook. It ended around 10. I’m sad though because we can’t meet each other every day like we used to, but we still in contact with each other.

Other than the reunion. My family also went to Bandung for holiday (note: I’m not from Bandung, I’m from Cikarang). We went to a place called ‘Puncak Bintang’ and ‘Dusun Bambu’. We spend two days in Bandung. The first day we went to ‘Puncak Bintang’. Because we didn’t know where was the location. We used an app called Waze (you guys should check it out, it’s a very good app). Even though it’s a very good app, there is one thing that I disliked of that app. The app used routes that avoid traffic, it’s a good thing, BUT in order to avoid traffic we have to use a remote road. To make it worse, Bandung has roads that going up, so it’s kind of hard to pass through it. My dad isn’t the most impatient person in the world, so along the way, I have to hear my dad nagging. Even though it’s annoying me a lot, but deep down I’m very grateful to have a dad like him, the fact that he put up with all of that just because I wanted to go there made me really happy. The good thing is that the place isn’t very far from the hotel we’re staying in (we stayed at a latiefinn hotel by the way). We arrived there around 2 and take a lot of pictures there. It was really cold, I regretted didn’t bring my jacket with me. They say the place looked even beautiful at night, but to go home at night pass that road, no thanks. Before we go home, my family and I bought noodles in one of the shops there. After that, we went to the hotel to clean up. Around 6 or so, we went out again to buy dinner. We ate at sate kambing pak Gino. The food was delicious. I don’t mind eating there again. We went to the hotel after that.

The next morning, we went to a place called ‘Dusun Bambu’. We left early because we’re going back to Cikarang later that day. Same like when we went to ‘Puncak Bintang’, we used waze because we don’t know the route to get there. The roads aren’t as bad as when we went to ‘Puncak Bintang’, but the journey is longer because ‘Dusun Bambu’ is located in Lembang. When we arrived there, it was already crowded, maybe because it was a holiday. The distance between The parking lot and ‘Dusun Bambu’ it’s pretty far, so we have to use some kinf of car without windows to get there. When we arrived, we were greeted eith a lake view and some sort of flower garden. My family and I took a lot of pictures. We also ate there, but because it was so crowded it took us about a half hour just to order food. On top of that, there are no tables lft. Luckily we found one after searching for 10 minutes. We left around 3 and went back to Cikarang. The journey was quite long bacause traffic jams, but we managed to get home around 6. It wasn’t trip to other country but it was still a lot of fun.

CAMPRT

Hello guys! Long time no see. It’s been a long time since the last time I write on my blog. Well, here I am now and I’m going to tell you guys one of my school activities ‘CAMPRT’. You guys might be wondering ‘What is CAMPRT?’ Well, to answer that CAMPRT is a camping trip. Every year in SMAN 3 Bandung from grade 10 to 12 have to do a camping activity to complete an assignment for Pramuka extracurricular. 2013 curriculum made us to have at lest one camping for Pramuka extracurricular or we can’t graduate.

Tuesday, 15th December 2015 

Today we’re going on a camping trip. YEAYYYY, I’m so excited. The last time I went camping was in 7th grade and it was great. I was hoping the same for this camping trip. So, I wake up at 5 o’clock in the morning and start my morning routine. I already packed yesterday with my mom’s helps. After eating breakfast, exactly at 6 o’clock I went to school with Gita and Arin (my dorm mates). I brought one backpack and a bag that I carried. I don’t mind the backpack though, because it wasn’t as heavy as the bag that I carried. I feel like my hand is broken. Well, good thing it wasn’t. I arrived at school around 6.15 A.M. and gathered at SMAN 3 & 5 Bandung front gate. At 6.30, we left to Jatinagor (the camp site) with a military truck. I was one truck with my classmates. The truck is actually pretty big, but when you fill it with 34 people and their big backpack, yeah it’s kind of small. I don’t remember the time we arrived, but I think it’s around noon. The are groups called ‘Sangga’. I’m Sangga, 13 with Tasya, Maida, Clara, and others. There’s around 10 people in my Sangga. When we arrived, my Sangga mates and I built our tent. It’s not as hard as I think. We finished it for about 10 minutes, then we wait until we get called by the committee (they’re in charge of this event). While we wait, we ate, prayed, and just clean up the tent to keep us busy. We got called after about 30 minutes, then we gathered in the field to do an opening ceremony. At the end of the ceremony rains started pouring so we went back to the tent and wait until the rain settles down. After the rain settles down, we continue our activities. Our next activities were to receive a lesson. The Shanghai divided into 3 groups. The first group got P3K lesson, the second group got a navigation lesson, and the last group (I’m in this group) got a lesson about how making a palanquin with ropes and Bamboos. Thanks fully it was easy. Then we did a competition on whose the fastest and the most right one on making palanquin. My team didn’t win though, it's alright, I had fun. Then we take a break. Like before we prayed, cooked for our meal, clean up, and just rest. After magrib we gathered again to do a pensi (penampilan seni). My class (science 6) did a dance, it was embarrassing because I danced horribly. But, it was kind of fun and I have a great time with my friends. We finished around 11 and went to sleep.

Wednesday 16th December 2015

My body ached, I can’t sleep properly because of the lack of space. I mean, come on, one tent with 10 people in it? But nevertheless my body survived. I woke up around midnight because my legs cramped, and when back to sleep. I woke up again and it was already 5 o’clock. I went out to got wudhu and went back to praying. Around six I think, we gathered in the field again to exercise, but two of us have to stay in the tent to cook. Maida and Clara were in charge of cooking, so the others, including me, went out to exercise. When we got back the food is ready and we started eating. It’s not much, but I was so hungry it felt like heaven. After eating, we changed our clothes for the next activities which is games. At first I was excited because hello, it’s games, but I was so wrong. I felt like I was dying, the game includes walking and hiking. It was so tiring. We went through this path and every once in a while we will pass a post and each post has its owns games that we have to do before going to the next one. There are 5 posts. Around 1 we finally finished the game and went to clean up the tent and get ready to go home. We left around 2 and arrived around 4. It was tiring but it was great and I had fun.
